Well I haven't posted in about 2 weeks and for that I am sorry. However, one of the reasons I hadn't posted is due to turning 30. So that leads me to this third part of being thankful.
I'm thankful for my family. All of them, aunts, uncles, nieces, and cousins I haven't even met in my life yet. You are all special to me and matter to our family.
I'm thankful for my aunts and uncles for their guiding lights to help reenforce the teachings of my parents or to put things into perspective.
I'm grateful for my cousins who put up with me when I was a selfish youth and are helpful friends in my growing present state. They are a source of inspiration and help me see a better future.
How can I ever express how grateful i am for my siblings? They have carried me when I was down, stood by when when I was trouble, and help grow the legacy that is our family. I love everyone one of them with all my heart.
My parents are amazing. I can't believe I'm passing things my father taught me before he passed away to my children. My mother is a saint if I would ever meet one. She has been a rock for our whole family and patient with us more times than we deserve. She is a truly inspiring force of goodness, kindness, and patience. She is a shining light in a dark world. She spreads her light to others and they shine like a star. I can never express in words, rhyme or song what she means to me.
